Easy Transfer,Disk Quata & ICS


WHAT IS EASY TRANSFER?


Easy file transfer is a feature of window 7 .By using easy file transfer you can transfer all settings or selected items from the old computer to new one.

 Steps Are: - 1> Click on start now in the search program & files type easy file transfer .
                     2> Now click on window easy transfer new tab will open .click on next.
                     3> It will ask for what do you want to transfer so you have to select A Network.
                     4> And now click on this is my old computer it will show window transfer key.
                     5> Now memories that code in your mind or write it anywhere for a while.
                     6> Hit next now it will try to connect your new computer with whom you goanna transfer data.
                     7> And same process you have to done in your new computer just one change you have to do
                     8> You have to choice this is my new computer (in new computer in which data is transferring).
                     9> Now you have to select I already installed it in my computer new option will come.
                    10> Hit next it will ask for easy transfer key code you have to write that code there.
                    11> And click on next your transferring process will proceed now .after all these process.
                    12> It will ask to restart your computer then restart it so now you can find changes.
                    13> New users will be shown .That's it


 WHAT IS DISC QUOTA?

Disc cota is used to provide limited disc space to user or group it’s a feature of window 7,Xp,Server 2003 & 2008 and window 8.To enable disc cota for user's steps are as following below :-
1> Go to my computer and select any of your desired drive in which you want to enable coata management & right click on that drive and select properties .Now click on Quota button on the top of properties tab.
2> Now click on show Quota settings.
3> Now select the check box of Enable Quota enable.
4> And also select below step deny disk space to user exceeding quota limit.(To limited space )


5> Now you have to select disc space eg( 1gb to 900mb) it will warn user in 900mb to del any item.
6> And select Quota entries below .New tab will open so you have to click on Quota button on top left of that new tab after clicking on Quota button select New Quota Entry.
7> It will ask to choose user so now click on advance button on bottom left side of that tab & hit find now. 
8> Now select your user from below user's list and click on ok.
9> Now check the check box of the limit disc space & type your desired value and click ok .That’s it


WHAT IS ICS (INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING) ?


Internet Connection Sharing is a feature of MS window XP, 7, 8, 98, 2000,2003,vista,server 2008.Which  is used to provide internet connectivity to other single internet connection.

REQUIRENMENT: - 1> Two LAN card                                                                                                           

2> Internet connection (Private OR public ip)
3> Admin Right.
4>Knowledge of it.
5> O/S (Operating System) XP, 98, vista, 7, 8 etc.
6> Cable must be properly configured in the LAN.

STEP'S TO ENABLE INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING ARE:-
-> Start /control panel /select network sharing center/Click on change adapter settings.
-> Or if you want to go their directly simply write this command in run ncpa.cpl .
-> Now click on the network connected LAN card and right click on it and select properties.
->Now select your public ip address lancard or internet connect LAN card anything E.g. (10.0.0.10)
-> New tab will open select share on the top left side .And now in the ICS section of sharing select allow other network users to connect through this computer & click ok.
-> A message will displayed after clicking ok on your screen.
-> When ICS is enabled your LAN Network will be set to use ip address 192.168.137.1.
->Click on yes and ok.
