Active directory & services and Trust relation's

WHAT IS ACTIVE DIRECTORY & SERVICES

Active Directory sites represents physical structure of the A.D where your all domain controller be located by default all domain controller will be exist only the default sites. AD sites & services is used to replicate company's data from ADC to PDC that is available in the company's active forest . During day time it is not possible to replicate data from ADC to PDC because company network is fully utilized by the company users. So we have to crest replication typologies according to the company's requirement

How to create sites:-

1. Open Active Directory Sites from administrator tool.
2. Right click on sites & select new object.
3. And give a suitable name according to office name.
4. Now select the fact IP site link & click OK.
5. It will show message created so hit OK.
6. Now right click on your ADC & move it into the newly created sites & click OK.
7. So it will move into your created sit .
8. Right click on subnet and .
9. Now give IP address into prefix box.
10. Now select your branch office sites & click OK.
11. Expand your AD controller and select option NTDS setting.
12. Now double click on the automatically generated properties.
13. And click change schedule.
14. Set replication according to your days and time now hit OK.
15. Select your up update by selecting home   and now select apply OK.

What IS AD TRUST Relation :-

Trust is a logical relation between different type of domain controller available within the forest to other forest.

1. Root server to root server forest trust.
2. New tree to root server - tree root trust automatically .
3. New tree to root server - Tree root trust automatically.
4. CDC to PDC - child parent trust automatically .
5. One forest's now -Another forest new tree.
6. External trust (now tree to new tree within forest shorts at trust manually.

Forest is a multiple collection of a single organisation.

Requirements:- 1> Both server should be online.
                           2> Both server should be in same class ip.
                           3> You should have knowledge of trust.
                           4> They should know both passwords .

Installation of sites :-

1. Open your DNS server from Administration tools .
2. Right click on the local server & choices its properties .
3. Now click forward & click on edit .
4. Now type ip address of your ADC (2ND) computer .
5. Hit enter.
6. Apply and OK.
