Router Network Connection

Router :- Router is a hardware for network connectivity device which is used to connect different type of network with each other router is a WAN  (wide area network) device & it works on the 3rd layer of  OSI called Network Layer. Router works according to its routing table.

Router => 2600 series

 Two types of communication network used are :-

      PUBLIC N/W                                                                  PRIVATE N/W

           (WAN)                                                                             (LAN)

  * It doesn’t works on MAC address like switch.

 * When data passed from Router it will use packed layer on data.

 * It helps in the mails which we can send to any Mail ID.

 * It takes clear way without traffic. So we can able to send a mail in seconds.

    There are two types of ROTERS:--

              => Software Router                                 => Hardware Router

Software Router: - Software router is a feature of window server 2003 & 2008 and its developed by         Microsoft . Slow speed & fewer features.

Hardware Router :- Hardware router is developed by CISCO and JINIPER .it have greater feature .
